Princeton is the largest town in the Similkameen region of Southern BC. It's a 90-minute drive from the Okanagan Valley and a three-hour drive from the Lower Mainland via Hwy 2-Crowsnest Hwy. Annual events include the Princeton Pro Rodeo, Princeton Racing Days (horses), and the Princeton Traditional Music Festival. Facilities include the Centennial Pool, a 700-seat hockey arena, a curling rink, and 14 local parks.

Things to do
- Bronze Sculpture Walk, where you can view wildlife sculptures along the main streets.
- The Princeton Museum houses a fossil collection, First Nations artifacts, and pioneer life exhibits.
- Biking or hiking the KVR or China Ridge trails in the summer and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing the trails during winter.
- Manning Park to the west offers a similar range of outdoor activities.
